Clinical Decision Making in Mental Health Practice

Clinical Decision Making in Mental Health Practice

Hello,

My name is Timothy Kilcoyne, M.A., and I am a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Northern Arizona University. I am conducting a research study as part of my clinical research project under the supervision of Dr. Gregory Shrader, and I would like to invite you to participate.

The purpose of this study is to examine how clinicians approach the assessment of clients presenting with multiple concerns. Participation involves reviewing a brief clinical vignette and completing questionnaires related to clinical impressions and decision-making. The study is expected to take approximately 20–30 minutes to complete.

To participate, you must be 18 years or older and hold an active mental health license in a U.S. state (e.g., licensed psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, or addiction counselor).

Participation is voluntary, and responses will be kept confidential. You may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty. There is no compensation for participation.
